Breaking the Pattern is 99c from now until 4 November.
Three things in it that are hard to find written down plainly:
What A1c measures and what it cannot see. It is a three-month average, which is exactly why it is insensitive to any single meal. A good A1c is good news and was never built to tell you what to put on your plate.
Why the first week should change nothing. If you change your diet the same week you start measuring, you will never know which number belonged to which change. Baseline is not wasted time.
What the evidence actually supports on remission, and where it thins out. Including the parts where the honest answer is that we do not know yet.
If you read it and it helps, an honest review is worth more to this than anything I can do myself.
If you have already bought it, ignore this one. Nothing else changes until the fourth.
